Following the 2017 Women’s March in NYC, I volunteered to design and create postcards to send to local government leaders to voice my concerns. With hand-lettered typography on the front, and space for hand-written messages on the back, I aimed to humanize political issues and draw attention to the needs of my community. I organized a postcard writing party and gathered friends to discuss, strategize, and write messages.
